An Engaging and Dynamic Performer for All Audiences

Performer

As a Performer, Brian has performed across the world. He is a member of numerous musical groups in the South Jersey area, including the South Jersey Pops Orchestra (Principal Horn), Philidelphia Wind Symphony, Ocean County College Band (Principal Horn) and the Lighthouse Brass Quintet. Brian has toured Japan with the show “One Piece Oto Utage.” Additionally Brian has performed in New Orleans with the Sinfonia Winds Ensemble (Principal Horn), as well as New York City with various ensembles.

While at Moravian College, Brian served as Principal Horn in several ensembles, including the Moravian College Wind Ensemble and the Moravian College Community Orchestra.

In 2016, Brian was the featured Concerto Competition Soloist with the Moravian College Wind Ensemble.

In addition to his classical work, Brian is also an active pit musician, playing shows throughout New Jersey and Pennslvania. His playing can also be heard in the score of the documentary Legends of Lacey Township: A Tour Through Time.

Brian has lead numerous ensembles at all levels, both choral and instrumental. Brian currently conducts the Toms River High School East Concert Band, Concert Choir and Master Choir.

Brian has studied Conducting with Dr. Carl Hess and Dr. Paula Zerkle at Moravian University. He has also participated in multiple Conducting Symposiums with Dr. Joseph Higgins (Rowan University) and Dr. Kim Fleming (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign).

Marching Band

Brian has over a decade of Competitive and Collegiate Marching Band Experience. Brian has served as the Assistant Director of the Toms River High School East Marching Raiders and the Middletown High School North “Orange Wave” Marching Band. In addition to being the Drum Major of the Moravian College Marching Band for two years, Brian also has experience writing drill and arranging music for Marching Bands.

Other marching experiences include the show “One Piece Oto Utage” (a theatrical marching show in Japan), as well as performances with Gallant Entertainment for sporting and corporate events in the New York City area.
